Earlier this year, Volvo Cars Switzerland launched an experiment entitled the Volvo Art Session. This art project, which was intended to creatively emphasize the careful design of the Volvo S60, took place February 9 to 13 and utilized the talents of 10 different artists.
The canvas, a white Volvo S60 set against a white background, was set up in the middle of a Zurich, Switzerland main railway station. Over the course of the five days, over 35,000 commuters stopped by to see the artists perform their magic on the S60.
The entire session was filmed continuously by a camera that took still shots of the car and backdrop every 10 seconds. The stills were later compiled into a three-minute, time-lapsed video.
